Quantum Engine is the PC companion app for JBL's Quantum gaming line. It unlocks spatial audio, the graphic EQ, RGB lighting, microphone and sidetone control, saved profiles and firmware updates — settings the headset can't reach on its own.
Everything the headset exposes over USB lives in one window. Change it once, and the headset keeps most of it even after you unplug.
Turn QuantumSURROUND on for positional cues in games, or switch it off for stereo music and competitive play.
Shape the frequency response by hand or start from a preset, then save it as a profile you can recall later.
Set mic gain, monitor yourself with sidetone, and manage voice settings without leaving the app.
Pick effects and colours for the earcup lighting on models that have it, or turn it off to save battery.
User profiles carry your setup between machines, so a reinstall doesn't mean rebuilding your EQ from scratch.
The app checks your headset, dongle or base station and installs firmware when JBL ships a new build.
Quantum Engine only talks to the headset through the USB cable, dongle or base station — Bluetooth and 3.5 mm connections won't be detected.
Run the installer, allow the audio driver when Windows asks, and reboot so the virtual surround device registers properly.
In Windows sound settings, choose your Quantum headset as both the playback and recording device so the app's settings actually apply.
Grab the latest Windows build and have your Quantum tuned in a couple of minutes.
